Labour & Employment

Our dedicated Employment law practice group advises and assists both domestic clientele and multinational companies in diverse employment and labour related issues, providing clear, practical, strategic and business-oriented solutions to our clients. We provide advisory and opinions on applicability of particular legislation(s) as well as various contentious issues, and also strategize with our clients to address these issues (for instance, matters requiring disciplinary proceeding or settlement procedures, or matters pertaining to termination, retrenchment, lay-offs & strikes). We also formulate and draft, as well as negotiate upon (if needed by clients), employment contracts, non-disclosure agreements, non-compete arrangements, offer letters, appointment letters, termination notices, agreements for protection and assignment of intellectual property, standard HR policies and procedures as well as stock option related documents. We also assist and advise our clients in managing HR-related crisis and sensitive terminations, by formulating strategy(s) and documentation regarding exit of senior management personnel and/or other employees.
